The TR 2 was the basis for the 276 Swallow-Doretti that were built. The 1954 Swallow-Doretti shown here is one of two former works race cars. Modifications to the engine allowed it to compete successfully in racing events.

The Fiat 1100 based on a design by Michelotti for Vignale took part in the 1957 Concorso di Eleganza del “Pincio” in Rome. Vignale produced just 13 examples of this coupé.

When creating the Alfa Romeo SZ, Carrozzeria Zagato was particularly concerned to reduce body weight to a minimum, which was to have a positive impact on performance. This Alfa Romeo SZ was delivered new to Switzerland , where it competed successfully in various hillclimb events including the Swiss Hillclimb Championship, as well as being fielded in Spa-Francorchamps.

Carrozzeria Zagato of Milan also created several superstructures for the chassis of the OSCA 1600 GT with the trademark Zagato “double bubble roof”.

The ASA brand never fulfilled its great ambition of establishing a small, competitive sports car in the European and US markets. Enzo Ferrari played a key role in the development of these models, though he opposed them being marketed under his name.
