Motorcycle Concours

30 historic motorcycles from the following categories will be presented with awards in a public Concours for the first time:

• Class A - Pioneers from the Period before 1917
• Class B - Design and Engineering 1920-1939
• Class C - Glamour
• Class D - Racing and Records
• Class E - Design Icons in Series

You can also witness how the Jury scrutinises the exhibited motorcycles and carry out its assessment in the period between 10.00 and 12.00. Take your place on the stand to see the prizes being awarded to the collectors in the individual categories at 14.30.

Theme exhibition at the Congress Centre

Visit the exhibition of BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. BMW will take you back to the 1960s with models from the “New Class”. In 1961, the new mid-range was presented by BMW at the Frankfurt Motor Show for the first time. As the first representative of the “New Class”, the BMW 1500 presented in Frankfurt represents one of the most important milestones in the automobile history of the BMW brand. The New Class became a symbol of the turning point in the production policy of BMW following the crisis experienced by the company in 1959.

MINI provides a surprise with a number of models from the “Designer Collection”. For example, did you know that Calvin Klein was not simply a designer of haute couture, but also designed a special model for MINI?

This year Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is celebrating a very special landmark anniversary. The world-famous radiator emblem will be 100 years old. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is marking the centenary of the Spirit of Ecstasy in 2011 with an exclusive collection of bespoke Phantom models. These models have been called the "Spirit of Ecstasy Centenary Collection" and one hundred cars will be delivered to customers bearing a suite of features inspired by the legendary flying lady, complemented by a range of exclusive exterior colours, wood-grain veneers and leather options. One of these cars will be on show for you to admire in the Congress Centre.
