La Aston-Martin DB4 GT Zagato fu presentata al Salone dell’Automobile di Torino del 1961. Costruita in soli 19 esemplari speciali, si distingue per le particolari finiture cromate multiple.

This aerodynamic coupé with its typical Zagato design was built in a small production run of 187 units. The Flaminia 2500 Sport Zagato 3C stems from the rare second series, which featured triple Weber carburettors.

The Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster appeared in 1957 with the technology of the 300 SL Gullwing, with the exception of a modified rear axle. As part of its comprehensive restoration, the original paint it featured at the time of delivery was used.

Another special model by Zagato, this car is based on the Flavia Sport Coupé of 1963. The model is in an unrestored condition and is regularly entered into events by Claude Picasso, son of the world-famous artist Pablo Picasso.

100. Alfa Romeo Canguro, 1964

In 1964, Nuccio Bertone was given a TZ2 by Alfa Romeo with the commission to create a concept car for the Paris Motor Show. The project was handed to Giorgetto Giugiaro, who worked for Bertone at the time. With the Canguro, Bertone produced a masterpiece that still boasts numerous admirers today as it did then. Following successful restoration, the car is on public show again at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este after more than 30 years.

102. Iso Grifo Lusso, 1966

Two years after the launch of the Rivolta, Iso presented the Grifo with a design similarly hailing from the drawing board of Giugiaro, the working for Bertone at the time. Even today, the Carrozzeria appears muscly, aggressive and elegant at the same time. This exhibit is the last pre-production model.

Ferrari unveiled the 275 GTB/4 model for the first time at the Paris Motor Show in October 1966. It is a classic roadgoing Ferrari of the 1960s, favoured by movie stars, industrialists and gentlemen drivers. The bodywork design stems from Pininfarina and it was built by Scaglietti. From 1966 to 1968, no more than 330 units were completed. This car was first delivered to America, where it spent many years in California before moving on to Japan and then England.

106. Lamborghini Miura S P400, 1969

The Lamborghini Miura had its premiere at the Geneva Motor Show of 1966, where it caused a major stir on account of its sensational styling. No less sensational was the unveiling of its successor, the P400, at Turin in November 1968. A total of 140 examples of the Miura S P400 were sold. To this day the Miura ranks as a design classic.

108. Monteverdi 375 Palm Beach, 1975

Built as a one-off, this Monteverdi 375 Palm Beach marked its debut at the 1975 Geneva Motor Show, i.e. exactly 30 years ago. Powered by a Chrysler 8-Zylinder engine, the Palm Beach brought an output of 305 DIN PS with a top speed of 240 kilometres an hour onto the road.
