Some fantastic days are almost impossible to describe in words because they are so multifaceted and unique. Magic moments of extraordinary intensity are generated when so much international automobile excellence congregates at incomparable places, in the company of passionate owners, collectors, experts and aficionados. This is the case at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este and it was an incredibly special time for us all.
More than 12,000 enthusiastic visitors came along to celebrate the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este – Il Festival on the Sunday in the park of Villa Erba against the backdrop of glorious weather. We were just as delighted by the crowds as by the numerous winners. Once again, it was our honour to award two of the world’s most prestigious prizes: the Coppa d’Oro Villa d’Este and the Trofeo BMW Group Best of Show by the Jury. Furthermore, we were privileged to confer awards on the best Historic Cars in eight award classes and bestow a host of awards for outstanding achievements and presentations.
