The Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2022 gets underway, the anticipation among the participants and guests is starting to mount in equal measure. Undoubtedly no less than you, we are excitedly awaiting the many treasured gems that will be lining up in the park of the Grand Hotel Villa d’Este for the exclusive gathering of Historic Cars from 20th May to 22nd May 2022.

As was the case last autumn, this year’s Concorso d’Eleganza will be held in the parkland of Villa d’Este on Saturday and Sunday. However, a larger number of visitors than last year will be permitted because the hygiene and social-distancing measures have now been relaxed.

This less restricted environment gives us the opportunity to invite all the visitors to a new, further event format on Sunday in the magnificent gardens of Villa Erba with “Wheels & Weisswürscht Lake Como”. Staged as an open Car Gathering Event, it will offer a wide variety of communities an ideal and multifaceted space hosting an exceptional mix of classic vehicles and presentations for many different and exciting encounters.

This year, another innovation will shorten the waiting time until the beginning of the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este – the Villa d’Este Prelude Tour. The main event will be preceded by a spectacular premiere from Milan to Lake Como. On 19th May 2022, the participants will take in villages, small towns and picturesque country roads, driving along a carefully curated route from the cultural metropolis of Milan to Cernobbio where they will arrive at the Grand Hotel Villa d’Este.
